Manchester United are looking to revamp their midfield this summer, but the Red Devils are eyeing another Premier League star as Elliot Anderson favors Manchester City
Manchester United are considering a summer move and are considering signing Bournemouth star Alex Scott.
The highly-rated Scot has been praised by a number of top clubs, with United and Chelsea considering a move for the 22-year-old.
Scott was called up to the England squad in November but was not selected for manager Thomas Tuchel’s final squad in March. But then he was named man of the match against United and scored the winning goal at Arsenal. These displays show his determination and quality, which is why top clubs now see him as a big prospect.

Bournemouth clearly don’t want to lose one of their key players, but several scouts have been keeping an eye on him, with United and Chelsea also aware of the situation.
Scott’s character and ability to run forward with the ball has impressed United, who are looking to strengthen their midfield this summer. They upgraded their front line last year by spending big on Benjamin Sesco, Brian Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
They now see midfield as the next step and have a clear improvement plan in place.
United are therefore likely to consider signing their top two midfield players. United have targeted Elliott Anderson, but the Nottingham Forest midfielder is an obvious target for Manchester City who are ahead of the curve.
They are also keeping an eye on Newcastle star Sandro Tonali, whose future on Tyneside is up in the air, and there are also rumors of links with Real Madrid and France star Aurelien Choameny. His future is likely to be linked with Manchester City midfielder Rodri, who is a target of the Spanish giants.
United have also signed Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, but they have already signed Koby Mainu, who is set to sign a new contract.
With veteran midfielder Casemiro leaving in the summer, United still need two midfielders to ensure their development this season.
And Scott is getting a lot of attention.
