Arsenal can’t win from here, but Mikel Arteta will be to blame if they go scoreless after getting Manchester City back into the Premier League title race.

Mikel Arteta and Arsenal are in danger of missing out on trophies this season

Mikel Arteta and Arsenal are in danger of missing out on trophies this season

If Arsenal end the season empty-handed, it will be difficult for Mikel Arteta to continue playing.

It would be Arsenal’s Devon Loch moment, surrendering the title from a comfortable nine-point lead at the top. They had their sights set on a quadruple, but were eliminated in the Carabao Cup, FA Cup and, although they are still in the Champions League, they will never win it unless they somehow rediscover themselves.

Arteta has done everything he can to rebuild Arsenal into a powerhouse, but if they fail to win the title it will be one of the biggest failures in Premier League history.

With transfers totaling nearly £1bn during Arteta’s six-year reign, no other club has spent so much in the transfer market, given up so much value and failed to bring home a major trophy.

Everyone was lining up at the beginning of the season that Arsenal had the best team. If that is true, then the manager and team management should be responsible for Arsenal’s failure to win trophies.

This does not mean Arsenal will get rid of Arteta.

He has one year left on his contract and the club will not release him and will likely give him a new contract. But in reality, he would be bust flush.

Arteta will be something of a joke among rival fans – “The chants of ‘Second Again, Ole Ole’ will be unbearable – and his supporters are fed up. They booed the team against Bournemouth on Saturday, and that’s what the fans are going to do. And it’s not just on social media.”

Every time Arteta talks about his future ambitions and goals, it will feel like empty words. There are notes under every heading. Yes, please pull the other one as well.

How on earth do we lift our players? If you can’t cross the line, you’ll be treated as a bottler who lacks mental strength and leadership.

Now it’s in Arteta. You were recognized for your success and the club and fans supported him thoroughly. They have endured some pretty bad football this season in the name of control and making sure they get over the line. And if it doesn’t, it’s not even worth it.

No one can dispute the work he has done. When he took over in December 2019, the club was in turmoil. He won the FA Cup in his first season. He rebuilt the relationship between the team and the fans and once again became a candidate for the club.

But this is Arsenal. huge club. This is the longest post-war period without them winning a title. They are not brave underdogs.

If Arteta can’t get them over the line this season, he never will. It feels like they had a chance to shine and they squandered it.

I can feel the nerves. Are the players listening to him yet? There was footage on social media of Granit Xhaka giving a post-match interview about “showing the ball” during his time at Arsenal. Who would do that now? Not too many.

Arsenal need captain Martin Odegaard to step up. If you have knee pain, you might have to play through it. Arsenal could be serious about Bukayo Saka and Julian Timber declaring their moves to Manchester City next Sunday.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard

Martin Odegaard has been plagued by injury problems and hasn’t looked at himself while playing lately.

They need character. They need heart and rebellion. If we win against City next Sunday, the title will be back. But Arsenal look like a team that has run out of ideas and energy.

Again, that’s definitely on Arteta. Is he overtraining them? Is that why I always run out of energy and energy in April? Now they’re dropping like flies.

Arne Slott has had many problems this season, but he won the title last season thanks to his team management. He cut back on training in January and got all these big players on the pitch.

Arsenal’s team rotation consists of bringing in substitutes in case the first-choice is injured, then resting and rotating for domestic cup matches. they did a very good thing.

Arsenal have progressed to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League and will play the second leg against Sporting CP on April 15th. Fans can watch the game on TNT Sports via HBO Max or the TNT Sports Channel on Prime Video.

Victor Goqueres was signed for a whopping £64m. But he looks like he’s carrying 10 tons of weight. He looks far from a top-level striker. Who is responsible for his overwhelming contract? Andrea Berta and Arteta even control the sporting director. Who will challenge Arteta?

Few players have suffered as much as Martin Zvimendi. He looks like a player who doesn’t enjoy playing soccer. He is a world-class talent and was hailed as one of this season’s signings a few months ago.

Now he seems to be losing confidence. He seems to be playing with the weight of the world on his shoulders. He is shot and dismembered and appears to have disappeared completely.

In fact, you could say that about too many members of your team.
