Manchester City narrowed their lead over Arsenal to just six points with a convincing 3-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. This result leaves the door wide open once again for the Premier League title race.
The Gunners went into this weekend’s game with a chance to extend their advantage at the top of the table to 12 points. But Saturday’s shock home defeat to Bournemouth left Mikel Arteta’s side in big trouble.
City are in control of their title rivals, with a crucial head-to-head clash between the two teams coming up in a week’s time, with a win in both games putting Guardiola’s side level on points with Arsenal and putting the pressure on them at a crucial stage of the season.

But as it stands, the Gunners still have the advantage, although next week’s game against City at the Etihad Stadium becomes a bit more important.
