Thierry Henry is paid around £95,000 a week despite retiring from football in 2014. It’s been more than a decade since the Arsenal legend retired and left the pitch. He is considered one of the greatest players of all time, and perhaps the best player to have ever played in the Premier League.
A deadly striker, Henry became Arsenal’s all-time top scorer with 228 goals in all competitions and won an unprecedented four Golden Boots in England’s top flight, along with two league titles and three FA Cups. More than 11 years have passed since his last professional outing, but the Frenchman remains heavily involved in the game, having turned into a coach shortly after retiring.
His managerial career also included stints with former club Monaco and MLS side Montreal Impact, and he also held positions in Arsenal’s youth organization and in Belgium.
He most recently coached the French under-21 and Olympic teams, but resigned after the 2024 Paris Games.
Today, Henry is a well-known figure in the broadcasting industry, frequently providing insight to the likes of CBS, Amazon Prime, Fox and Sky Sports.
Despite retiring from professional football, he remains one of the most recognizable and commercially desirable figures in the sport.
Famous for appearing in Renault’s famous ‘Va-Va-Voom’ advertising campaign during his playing days, Henry continues to maintain a substantial portfolio of endorsement deals with major brands including Kia, Reebok, Don Julio, Ninja and Lays.

Despite several years away from the pitch, it has now been revealed that the Arsenal icon now earns a weekly wage comparable to that of any active Premier League footballer, with accounts recently published by his company Cluemere Ltd revealing his significant income.
According to the latest documents, Henry received dividends of £2,774,312 and his income increased with an advance payment of £2,160,386, bringing his total weekly income to almost £95,000.
His company also owns assets of £931,781, including £833,290 in cash, according to disclosed accounts.
As well as his work as a critic and commercial dealings, Henry boasts a substantial property portfolio, including a £10m mansion in Hampstead and a £12m penthouse in New York.
He is also part-owner of Italian team Como, which is managed by former Arsenal teammate Cesc Fabregas. Como currently sit in fourth place in Serie A, ahead of the likes of Juventus and Roma.
