The Premier League has announced changes to the fixture schedule, with Manchester City facing Southampton and Chelsea facing Leeds United in the FA Cup semi-finals.

The Premier League has confirmed the changes to the fixture schedule following the results of the FA Cup semi-finals and how this will affect the teams competing in the last four. Manchester City easily defeated Liverpool to book their place in the semi-finals and will face Championship side Southampton.
Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick at the Etihad Stadium, while Antoine Semenyo also scored for last season’s runners-up. Josep Guardiola’s side are looking for a second silver medal after defeating Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final before the recent international break.
City’s manager was suspended from the dugout after receiving his sixth yellow card of the season in the fifth round win over Newcastle, and was suspended from the dugout as he watched the latest final game from the stands.

Saints completed the upset of the round by defeating Premier League leaders Arsenal 2-1 at St Mary’s at the weekend. Ross Stewart and Shay Charles scored on a historic night for the second division club.
After reaching the last four, Chelsea will face Leeds United in the other semi-final. Liam Rosenier’s side defeated Port Vale 7-0 at Stamford Bridge to book their place under Wembley Arch.
Leeds, managed by Daniel Farke, survived a close game against Premier League rivals West Ham United. In London, Aoi Tanaka put Los Blancos ahead and Dominic Calvert-Lewin converted a penalty to give the visiting team a two-goal lead.
However, the Hammers scored two goals in stoppage time, sending the match into extra time and penalties. Falke’s team held on and won the penalty shootout 4-2 to qualify for the next round.

The semi-final matches are scheduled to take place on April 26 and 27, with all three Premier League teams participating in the semi-finals making changes to their fixtures.
The match between Chelsea and Brighton will kick off at 8pm on Tuesday 21st April, while Leeds United will travel to Bournemouth to kick off at 8pm on Wednesday 22nd April.

Man City’s trip to Burnley will also take place on Wednesday 22 April, kicking off at 8pm. All three matches will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
All four clubs participating in the semi-finals have yet to decide when their FA Cup fixtures will take place.
