Gary Neville reportedly earns more than £1 million a month through his podcasting activities on top of his salary at Sky Sports. Manchester United’s iconic Buzz 16 Productions – which oversees projects such as Overlap – generated a turnover of £11.6m last year. The Sun reports that Baz paid £4.6m in salary and pension contributions last year.
Meanwhile, Mr Neville reportedly shared more than £3m in dividends with three other directors. Neville joins long-term broadcasting partner Jamie Carragher on shows such as Stick to Football and Fan Debate, as well as appearing on short Sky Sports podcasts covering Premier League matches.
In January, it sold a majority stake in Overlap, which owns Classic FM, Capital, LBC and others, globally.
Speaking about the deal at the time, Neville said: “Overlap started as an idea that we thought people might like, and we went with it.
“It’s a team I love working with and am very proud to be a part of. We never thought of this as a business. We just wanted to make something that people would love.”
Neville frequently appears on the overlap with Carragher, Roy Keane, Ian Wright and Jill Scott, and hosts a variety of high-profile guests throughout the year.
The latest names to appear on the show include Wayne Rooney, Ange Postecoglou, Ashley Cole, Rory McIlroy and Gareth Bale.
This follows Neville, Keane and Carragher reaching an agreement for Manchester City’s FA Cup quarter-final match against Liverpool on Saturday.

The Reds entered this match as second-place favorites with a spot in the top four on the line after suffering a crushing 3-0 defeat to the Sky Blues earlier this season.
Keane quickly sparked a debate over who would come out on top. He said: “Liverpool are really bad.
“You know, one of the worst performances I’ve seen this season was against Liverpool at Nottingham Forest. I know going back six or eight weeks ago, I said they were terrible champions.”
Mr Keane predicted a 2-1 win for City, but Neville and Carragher went further, predicting the match would end 3-1 for City.
Manchester City enter the tournament in great form, having defeated Arsenal 0-2 in last month’s Carabao Cup final thanks to two goals from Nico O’Reilly.
Still chasing the Premier League title, Guardiola will have his eyes firmly set on the glorious domestic treble of EPL, Carabao Cup and FA Cup ahead of this weekend’s showdown.
