Tottenham Hotspur are looking for a third manager this season following the departure of Igor Tudor, and there are a number of directions the north London outfit could go in.
Tottenham Hotspur need to appoint a new manager following the departure of Igor Tudor. The Croatian only took over earlier this year after the Tomas Frank tragedy.
However, Tudor’s results were even worse, with the north London outfit mired in relegation with just seven games remaining this season. And Spurs’ leaders have had plenty of time to think about it, with Premier League action suspended during the international break.
A number of options are already being considered, with the possibility of both long-term and interim appointments.
But who actually takes the reins? Mirror Football looks at some potential options.

roberto de zerbi
Former Brighton and Marseille manager Roberto De Zerbi is the man Spurs appear to want as their full-term manager. The Italian impressed during his time in the Premier League and went on to impress in France.
De Zerbi only left Marseille in February, so he will be free to return to work. But he has made it clear that he only wants to take office in the summer, while a small number of support groups have reacted less warmly to the prospect of him taking over. Therefore, his appointment may actually be more complicated than initially thought.
Addy Hitter
Another European manager who has fans is Austrian tactician Adi Hitter. The 56-year-old has been in the spotlight in recent seasons with Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Monaco.
He resigned after completing his two-year term and has been away from work since October. Reports suggest that talks have already taken place between Spurs and Hütter in recent days. It remains to be seen whether discussions will get serious now that Tudor is gone, but Hütter is certainly an option.
Sean Dyche
Another name that has been rumored is former Burnley, Everton and Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche. According to reports, Spurs are temporarily interested in signing Dyche.
He was recently asked about the job and appeared to pour cold water on the prospect of an appointment. That stance may change now that Tudor has officially left the party.
ryan mason
If the Spurs want to draft someone who has done the job before, look no further than Ryan Mason.
He was appointed after the sacking of manager Jose Mourinho in 2019 and led Spurs to four wins in seven games. Mason was given the role two years later.
The former midfielder is still out of work after a less-than-inspiring spell at Championship side West Bromwich Albion.
robbie keene
Another name that needs little introduction to Spurs fans, the former Spurs forward, was also rumored to be returning shortly after Frank’s sacking. Keane is currently playing for Hungarian powerhouse Ferencvaros, with whom he won the league title.
Keane also played for Maccabi Tel Aviv and also held coaching roles at Leeds, Middlesbrough and the Republic of Ireland.
