Spurs said in a statement: “We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed that head coach Igor Tudor will leave the club with immediate effect. Tomislav Rozic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also resigned from their respective roles as goalkeeping coach and physical coach.”
“We would like to thank Igor, Tomislav and Riccardo for their tireless efforts over the past six weeks. We also acknowledge the recent bereavement that Igor has suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time. Updates on the new head coach will be provided in due course.”
Tudor leaves north London, leaving Tottenham perched precariously on the dreaded dotted line of relegation. Spurs are just one point behind West Ham United in 18th place, but have a significant advantage over the Hammers on goal difference.
Tottenham are the only Premier League club yet to record a win in 2026. After the international break, they travel to Sunderland on April 12th before facing Brighton & Hove Albion on the 18th.
The Seagulls’ visit will be followed by a potential away clash with 20th-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers, who have recorded a win over Liverpool at Molineux this year and a draw with Premier League leaders Arsenal. Spurs’ remaining four games are away to Aston Villa, home to Leeds United, away to Chelsea and home to Everton.
At this point, it is unclear who will be in the dugout for the final relegation battle. Sean Dyche, who was sacked by Nottingham Forest in February, is rumored to be linked with the role.
Furthermore, former Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi is also understood to be admired by Spurs, although reports in Italy suggest the Italian is keen to take over at the end of the season.
