Arsenal could make another big hit in the transfer market as talk of a move for PSG sensation Hviča Kvaratschelia has emerged – which could further strengthen their attack.
Arsenal boast perhaps the most complete and deep squad in Europe thanks to continued investment in the transfer market, with more players likely to join this summer.
The Gunners brought in the likes of Martin Zvimendi, Eberechi Eze and Victor Gökeres last summer, and there are now talks of adding European champion Kviča Kvaratschelia from PSG.
Although he has only been in Paris for just over a year, the Georgian is regarded as one of the best wingers on the planet and helped them beat Arsenal in the Champions League semi-finals last season. He scored in the quarter-finals and final, and there were reports that the Premier League side were considering a summer move.
A few things need to happen for them to fall into place, but they are looking to add up front. Arsenal see Kvaratschelia as the type of player who can improve their level.
Kvaratschelia has scored 12 goals this season, but the big hurdle for Arsenal will be how highly rated he is at the Parc des Princes. The camp are said to be open to at least discussing a move, but it is understood they consider him important to their projects.

He joined the French champions from Napoli for £59.5m. If it were to be put up for sale, they would want to increase that amount significantly, but that would require serious negotiations.
Arsenal have a lot of bright names up front, but ultimately a decision will have to be made where certain players’ minutes will be reduced. There may be some uncomfortable conversations to be had regarding Victor Gokeres, but that may depend on how he performs in the final months of the season.
The Swede was seen as a versatile striker who could spearhead Arsenal’s ambitions, but the goalscoring did not come as freely as many had hoped.
In the Spanish press, there continues to be talk about Julian Alvarez’s transfer, despite his success with Atletico Madrid. He appears to have a good relationship with fellow Argentine Diego Simeone, but the lure of the Premier League may still remain.
Alvarez became a hit player for Manchester City, even if he had to play second fiddle to Erling Haaland. His quality was so obvious that Atlético spent £81.5m to acquire his services. A similar fee is likely to be required if the Spanish side is prepared to obtain the cash.
Mikel Arteta hopes Bukayo Saka can rediscover the form that made him one of the country’s best players. He recently signed a new lucrative contract and is firmly part of the club’s future vision. Although he has endured a less productive season, he remains a regular and they play on the opposite wing even if Kvaratskhelia is dropped.
Eberechi Eze was one of Arsenal’s best buys this summer, with the former Crystal Palace man showing how well he can play in midfield. This allows Arteta to put another quality player on the pitch, with the Englishman likely to jump ahead of Martin Odegaard in the pecking order.
There will be little desire to change the structure of the midfield, where Declan Rice has become something of a talisman. He looks like he will be worth every penny of the £105m they spent to sign him in 2023.
Similarly, their backline is seen by many to be the best in Europe, with the likes of William Saliba and Gabriel making huge contributions to the project at the Emirates. Hincapie arrived and has impressed in the side, but he is only on loan with an option to buy for £45m.
Arsenal’s eleven candidate for next season: Raya. Hincapie, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber. Rice, Zubimendi. Kvaratskheria, Eze, Saka. Alvarez.
