Mohamed Salah has announced that he will leave Liverpool at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Salah said: “Unfortunately this day has come. This is the first part of our farewell.” “I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of this season. First of all, I would like to say that I never imagined that this club, this city and these people would become a part of my life.
“Liverpool, it’s more than just a football club. It’s passion. It’s history. It’s spirit. Words can’t explain it to anyone who isn’t part of this club. We celebrated victories, we won the most important trophies, we fought together through the most difficult times of our lives.”
Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017 and played a key role in re-establishing the club as one of Europe’s best.
