Manchester United boosted by pursuit of Davies
The Premier League giants have been given a push to sign the 25-year-old after transfer experts suggested Bayern are open to selling the defender this summer.
“They are still monitoring the player, but he has since signed a new contract at the Allianz Arena, so it will be difficult to sign him at the moment.
“However, given that Davies continues to suffer injuries, there are also discussions at the club about whether they need a new substitute. Previously, they thought they didn’t need a player on the left, as Hiroki Ito can also play there.”
“But if there is an offer (remember it cost Bayern a lot of money to extend Davies) there will be a discussion.
“But what I can say at the moment is that we haven’t received a concrete offer from Manchester United yet. If they do, Bayern will probably consider it because of all the injuries.”
Sancho to reunite in Bundesliga
Jadon Sancho is ready to make a comeback in the Bundesliga, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Transfer experts claim Sancho’s former employers Borussia Dortmund have renewed interest in signing the Manchester United loanee.
The winger enjoyed two successful spells with Dortmund during his career and could be reunited with his former club once his contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season.
“Borussia Dortmund have a genuine interest in re-signing Jadon Sancho,” Romano wrote on social media.
“As he decided a few months ago, he will leave Manchester United as a free agent and will evaluate all proposals.
“Borussia Dortmund would be keen if we can agree on financial terms.”
Barça ready to spend big this summer
The paper claims the current La Liga champions have targeted two players who are best suited for the club in the left-back and striker positions.
The Catalan-based publication states that “the club is preparing to invest up to 130 million euros to strengthen these two important positions.”
“The names that come up most often in the club’s offices are Alessandro Bastoni and Julian Alvarez, making them the two main targets for these positions.
“Deco and the board highly value Bastoni’s ball distribution, technical quality and long-term potential.
“They see him as a centre-back for the next 10 years and he fits perfectly into Hansi Flick’s possession-based style of building from the back.
“In the forward position, the main target is Alvarez. Barca sees him as the ideal successor to Lewandowski due to his versatility, scoring ability and ability to play in multiple attacking positions.”
Luis agrees new contract with PSG
The Spaniard’s contract with the current European champions expires next summer, but the two sides have reached an agreement to extend his stay in the French capital.
“Fabian will turn 30 in a few days and he has no doubts. He wants to stay at PSG, just as PSG wants him to stay.
“There are no surprises. The deal is done. It was verbally agreed. The project in Paris is the same as the Spanish international who joined for an extraordinary fee of 22 million euros when his market value was 55 million euros.”
“Four years have passed and Fabian still has many titles and goals to achieve.”
