Virgin Media is offering sports fans up to £250 in switching credits to cover early termination fees when switching to a TV package that includes Sky Sports, Netflix and broadband.
Virgin Media is offering sports lovers up to £250 if they switch to one of its TV packages this month. This means supporters of Premier League, F1, Rugby, Darts and more can avoid future price increases introduced by competing providers and secure a £250 switching credit.
The offer is available on Virgin’s £52.99 Sports Bundle, which delivers over 200 channels plus nine channels from Sky Sports, including Main Event and F1. This will allow subscribers to watch Sky’s full coverage of the final stages of the Premier League, every Grand Prix weekend, plus the Carabao Cup Final and Masters.
Customers taking advantage of this offer will also receive a free Netflix subscription and 516Mbps fiber broadband, with Sky Atlantic set to be added from April 1. New Virgin customers who sign up to the deal will be able to claim up to £250 in bill credits to cover early termination charges imposed by their existing provider, and potentially be eligible for several months of free service.
However, Virgin has confirmed that customers will need to sign up by April 1 to secure their deal. It’s also available in the £64.99 Sports + Cinema bundle, which comes with the same TV and sports benefits, as well as a Sky Cinema subscription.
This grants you access to Sky’s growing library of over 1,000 movies on demand. All of these benefits are also included in the £76.99 Max Volt bundle, which Virgin describes as its best value package. What sets it apart from cheaper options is superfast 1,130Mbps broadband, plus access to over 230 TV channels, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema and Netflix. Additionally, Max Volt members get an O2 SIM card that provides unlimited data, talk time, and text messages at no additional charge.

Virgin Media is paying new customers up to £250 in bill credits when they switch to one of its TV and broadband packages. These packages are packed with hundreds of channels, including Sky Sports, Netflix and fiber broadband.
Virgin’s sports package has the option to include extra services such as TNT Sport for £25. This represents better value than signing directly with the broadcaster for £30.99 per month.
A key factor in the switch is Virgin’s confirmation that there will be no price increase in April and that prices will remain fixed for 12 months. However, the downside is that customers’ bills will still rise in April 2027, increasing their monthly costs by £4.
Virgin’s Sport bundle competes with Sky’s own services such as the £35 Essential TV and Sky Sports packages. While Sky’s plans are more budget-friendly than Virgin’s, they offer fewer benefits, around 100 fewer channels, and don’t include broadband.
To claim Virgin’s £250 switching offer, customers must enter their postcode on the website to check their cover and select their package. They can then use the one-touch switch to complete the checkout, allowing Virgin to process the transfer without the customer having to contact their existing provider.
Once all is said and done, Virgin will provide you with details about claiming your switching credit. This will be applied as a bill credit. It’s important to note that the amount available will depend on the termination fees charged by your current provider.
