Virgin Media offers up to £250 credit on Premier League packages | Soccer | Sports

Virgin Media is offering sports fans up to £250 when they switch to one of its TV packages this month. This allows supporters of Premier League, F1, Rugby, Darts and more to avoid future price increases introduced by competing providers and secure a £250 switching credit.

The offer is available on Virgin’s £52.99 Sports Bundle, which delivers over 200 channels plus nine channels from Sky Sports, including Main Event and F1. This will give subscribers access to Sky’s complete coverage of the final stages of the Premier League, every Grand Prix weekend, as well as the Carabao Cup Final and the Masters.

Customers who take advantage of the promotion will also receive a free Netflix subscription and 516Mbps fiber broadband, with Sky Atlantic set to be incorporated from April 1. New Virgin subscribers who sign up to this deal can receive up to £250 in bill credits to offset early termination charges imposed by their existing provider, and in some cases could be eligible for several months of free service.

This gives you access to Sky’s ever-growing catalog of over 1,000 movies on demand. All of these benefits are also included in the £76.99 Max Volt bundle, which Virgin claims is its most competitive package. What sets this apart from more affordable alternatives is its exceptionally fast 1,130Mbps broadband and over 230 TV channels, including Sky Sports, Sky Cinema and Netflix. In addition, Volt Max members receive an O2 SIM card that provides unlimited data, talk time, and text messages at no additional charge.

All Virgin Sports packages have the opportunity to include additional services such as TNT Sports for £25. This represents better value than signing directly with the broadcaster for £30.99 per month.

An important factor to consider when making the switch is that Virgin has fixed its prices for 12 months and announced in April that it would not increase prices. Nevertheless, customers may still see a price increase in April 2027, with the downside being that their monthly bill will increase by £4.

Virgin’s Sport package competes with Sky’s own services such as the £35 Essential TV and Sky Sports bundles. Sky’s packages are more budget-friendly than Virgin’s, but offer fewer benefits, around 100 fewer channels, and don’t include broadband.

To secure Virgin’s £250 switching offer, customers must enter their postcode on the website to confirm they’re eligible for cover and select their package. The checkout can then be completed using a one-touch switch, allowing Virgin to complete the transfer without customers having to contact their existing provider.

Once everything has been verified, Virgin will let you know how to claim your switching credit. Switch credits will be applied as bill credits. It’s important to note that the amount available will depend on the termination fees charged by your current provider.
