Tottenham manager Igor Tudor has been accused by the Football Association of making eye-catching comments after Spurs’ 2-1 defeat to Fulham on March 1.
Igor Tudor, who was furious after Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to Fulham, has been accused of misconduct by the Football Association.
Tudor was furious at Harry Wilson’s decision to award a sixth-minute opener against Craven Cottage on March 1 after Raul Jimenez appeared to push Spurs centre-back Radu Dragusin on his way to goal from a Kenny Tete cross.
Jimenez was accused of “cheating” in the post-match press conference by an infuriated manager Tudor, with the Croatian manager referring to match official Thomas Bramall as the “home team referee” on the BBC’s Match of the Day. This led to the Tottenham manager being charged by the FA.
“Tottenham Hotspur’s Igor Tudor has been charged with misconduct following comments he made after the Premier League game against Fulham on Sunday 1 March,” the FA said in a statement, as reported by Football London. “The manager is said to have behaved inappropriately during the post-match interview, including implying bias, questioning his integrity and making personally offensive comments to match officials.”

Spurs and Tudor have until Monday to respond to the charges. Tudor will be given the opportunity to discuss the charges at a press conference on Friday ahead of Sunday’s visit to Nottingham Forest.
The accusations were made after Tudor won his first game as Spurs manager on Wednesday night. Tottenham defeated Atletico Madrid 3-2 on the night, but were eliminated from the Champions League with a 7-5 aggregate result.
Xavi Simmons scored twice in a morale-boosting performance for relegation-threatened Spurs. “It’s great. Of course, the sensations and sensations are complicated,” Tudor said in the post-match press conference. “We lost, but the feeling was, as you said, a very good team on the pitch, a very good performance from the players, the energy, as you said before, was very good.
“From the first moment, the fans knew that the team would try to do everything it could, so from the first moment to the last, they were with us, it was beautiful. Thank you.”
He added: “Of course we improved in the last two games. But as I said in the previous two games, it is impossible to judge these two games because what happened in the first 20 minutes against (Atlético) Madrid has nothing to do with the coach, the team, the tactics, the training. There is nothing about that.”
“Crystal Palace, I think in the last game we were 1-0 and we were in complete control of the game. There was also a red card, but there was nothing about it. But in football you have to check every day, every day, every Sunday.”
“As we know, we have an important game on Sunday, but nothing is decided yet. As I said before, I believe everything will be decided in the last two or three games.”
