It was an eventful night for the 33-year-old, who saved a penalty before registering a goal and an assist as Liverpool overturned a 1-0 deficit in the first leg to win 4-1 on aggregate and meet holders Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals.
But after that heroic act, he felt a knock and signaled his substitution to the bench, with Kodi Gakpo coming on in his place with just over 15 minutes remaining.
And Arne Slott has said he will provide an update on his injury situation ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Brighton.

Salah will also miss Egypt’s friendly against Spain on March 31 as part of preparations for the FIFA World Cup.
“The good thing for Liverpool and us is that he can go to the international break. The bad thing for Egypt is that he can’t go there,” Slott added.
“We expect that from what Mo has shown in the past, he will be able to recover faster than other players in similar situations because he takes great care of his body. History shows that he can return faster than other players.”
“But we only have two weeks to go again, so let’s hope he comes back within that time.”
The match between Egypt and Spain was originally scheduled to be played in Qatar, but due to the Middle East conflict, it was moved to Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Liverpool travel to the south coast looking to move into the top four and move one step closer to qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
A win in East Sussex will be crucial for Chelsea, who remain two points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, with just one point adrift.
Fabian Hürzeler’s side have won three of their last four league games and will be at home to a confident Liverpool side who have been reinvigorated after winning the Champions League.
Slott also gave an update on defender Joe Gomez, who did not come on as a substitute in the game against Galatasaray.

“Joe was on the bench, but he didn’t play,” Slott explained.
“We tried to postpone it as long as we could. He was already saying he wasn’t feeling well before the game started. I said, ‘Okay, let’s wait until halftime (and) maybe a miracle will happen, we might need you in overtime.’
“He might be available tomorrow, but he’s definitely going to start.”
When is Brighton vs Liverpool?
