Chelsea launched an investigation after their starting lineup was leaked ahead of last week’s Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain, and it appears the same thing has happened this time.
Chelsea’s starting lineup for the match against Paris Saint-Germain has been leaked once again. The Blues launched an investigation last week after Liam Rosenior’s line-up for the 5-2 first leg defeat was leaked hours earlier.
The same thing appears to have happened ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League last-16 second leg, with several French media outlets reporting that Wesley Fofana will be substituted for Jorel Hato. Fofana, 25, struggled in Paris and was blamed for Newcastle’s goal on Saturday as Chelsea lost 1-0.
However, reports say the defender’s absence is due to injury. Fofana is said to be suffering from a muscle strain and the Pigeons are set to start at Stamford Bridge.
Unless the leak was intended as a bluff, Rosenior would be furious. The Blues manager admitted after his selection was leaked last week: “If that’s the case, I’m sure the truth will come out. Things like this are happening quite often now.

“Information about the opponent is coming in. I’m more worried about the final result than the beginning of the match.”
The leak comes after Chelsea suffered a major injury ahead of Tuesday’s game. Captain Reece James, who has been largely injury-free this season, will be out for several weeks with a hamstring problem.
“In Reece’s case, he felt something in his hamstring at the end of the game against Newcastle,” Rosenior said in his pre-match press conference. “It’s really frustrating and disappointing for us. We don’t know the full story yet, but this means he will be excluded from tomorrow’s game.

“It could be (in the next few weeks). It’s a hamstring injury and his condition is not great. Hopefully we’ll have a scan on him and find out the extent of it and then we’ll know more. Obviously we know what an important player he is and how important a leader he is in the group as captain.”
“Maro (Gusto) is not feeling well today. We will see how he is tomorrow and get back to you. Estevao is back in training. He will be part of the group and we will decide at some point tomorrow whether he can play or not.”
“As for Filip Jorgensen, he felt something in his groin after the PSG game. He is undergoing scans to determine the full extent of his injury.”
