England play Uruguay on March 27th and Japan on March 31st at Wembley Stadium in their final international break before the 2026 World Cup.
The Premier League will be suspended next week as England return to action in their final international break ahead of the World Cup. Coach Thomas Tuchel has two games left to evaluate his players before naming the national teams for Canada, Mexico and the United States in June.
The Three Lions secured their spot in the World Cup with eight wins in qualifying, finishing top of their group and setting up a rematch with Croatia in the opening round of the tournament. But before that, England will play two friendlies at Wembley Stadium as part of their 2026 send-off series, hosting Uruguay on March 27 and Japan on March 31.
Tickets for both games went on sale to the general public in December and February respectively, and a number of general admission options remain available, along with more exclusive VIP and hospitality packages. Prices on the Wembley Stadium website start from £35 per person for ‘Category 4 – Licensed Standing’ tickets and £80 for ‘Category 1’ tickets which offer excellent views and seating.
VIP and hospitality options for both facilities are available from £75 at Seat Unique. Seat Unique offers ‘premium’ seating on the second floor with padded seats and great views of the pitch. The taphouse ticket is described as offering the “ultimate luxury match experience” and includes entry to Wembley 2.5 hours before kick-off, as well as access to premium dining, the M&S food hall and comfortable seating within the bar area.
England supporters looking to indulge can book a table in the exclusive Bobby Moore Lounge, with premium half-way line seating next to the dugout, from £349 per person. This price also includes a four-course gourmet meal, bar, live entertainment, and unlimited Laurent-Perrier Champagne.
Comparable benefits include the more exclusive Bobby Moore Suite, a VIP package that includes level 1 seating behind the dugout from £395 per person. However, tickets are selling fast and some Bobby Moore packages have limited availability.
You should also keep in mind that prices may vary depending on the equipment. For those planning to watch from home, England vs. Uruguay and England vs. Japan will both be broadcast live on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
England last faced Uruguay at the 2014 World Cup, when Liverpool forward Luis Suarez’s brace effectively ensured England’s exit from the group stage. Wayne Rooney’s first goal of the competition ultimately wasn’t enough to prevent a second successive defeat as Roy Hodgson’s side were sent off early.
England have only faced Japan three times, their most recent encounter being their last warm-up match before traveling to South Africa for the 2010 World Cup. England won 2-1 thanks to two Japanese own goals.
England will play two further matches in South Florida in June against New Zealand and Costa Rica as part of their pre-World Cup preparations. Ticket sales details for these matches are yet to be announced, but supporters can register their interest through The FA here.
