The FA Cup fifth round will be held from March 6th to 9th, with all eight matches being broadcast live on TV over the weekend.
The FA Cup is gearing up for the fifth round this weekend, with only 16 teams left competing for the trophy. Eight matches will be held from March 6th to 9th, with each match being broadcast live on one channel.
There continues to be a mix of Premier League powerhouses and dark horses from lower leagues, including top-tier Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City. Championship teams Wrexham and Southampton are also still in contention, while League One sides Mansfield Town and Port Vale are the bottom of the table remaining.
Each club is set to make big profits, with all 16 clubs pocketing £120,000 in broadcast fees. The winner of each match will take home a further £238,500 from the overall prize pot.
All matches in the FA Cup fifth round will be televised, with coverage shared by TNT Sports and Discovery+. Supporters can stream every match live via the discovery+ app or the TNT Sports channel on Prime Video.
The subscription costs £30.99 per month and also includes access to most of the upcoming UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matches. However, the match between Newcastle and Barcelona on March 10th will be available to watch exclusively on Amazon’s Prime Video.
