Arsenal and Manchester City both achieved important wins this weekend as the race for the Premier League title continues to heat up. The Gunners remain top of the table, five points ahead of City, who still have a game in hand.
Josep Guardiola’s side cruised to victory from Elland Road on Saturday night with a 1-0 victory over Leeds United thanks to Antoine Semenho’s winning goal. On Sunday, Arsenal responded with a 2-1 win over Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium.
Next week will be another test for both teams before the title race pauses for the FA Cup. Both teams also play in the Champions League and will also face each other in the Carabao Cup final.
