Manchester United legend showed all his knightly qualities as he sprang into action after a skier took a fall during his recent holiday
It turns out that Sir David Beckham is more than just a knight in title. It comes after the Manchester United icon was reportedly the first to react after seeing a stranger fall and hit his head during a recent ski trip.
Beckham, 50, was visiting Courchevel in the French Alps last week and was with his daughter Harper when the disaster occurred. He is understood to have witnessed the unnamed woman fall before stepping in to make sure she was okay.
The Sun reported that “Bex” helped the woman remove her skis and then made sure the woman was not injured. Like Harper, the former Real Madrid and AC Milan midfielder is understood to have been with the ski guide, and his response also drew praise.
Shortly after retiring in 2013, Beckham started snowboarding to keep fit. He and his wife Victoria have been regular participants in Courchevel for many years, but last week’s unfortunate accident made them new participants.

“He took her skis off and made sure she was okay. He was a true gentleman. David was incredibly nice and so was the ski guide who was with him.”
Courchevel caters to an upscale clientele. Prince William and Duchess Kate traveled to the French destination on their own in early 2026.
The Beckhams have been making regular trips to the slopes for the past 10 years. Just last year, Bex visited British Columbia for a snowboarding vacation.
Canada is particularly popular with the Beckhams, who regularly visit resorts such as Island Lake Lodge near Fernie. Whistler is another famous mountain destination frequented by football legends and their families over the years.
The trip to Courchevel is thought to be the Beckhams’ first ski trip since their son Brooklyn was separated from the rest of the family. Davis and Victoria’s eldest son made the bombshell statement in January, following reports that he had cut ties with the rest of the Beckham clan.

Brooklyn said she felt her parents tried to control her throughout her life. He also accused his mother Victoria of trying to “ruin” his marriage to wife Nicola Peltz. After receiving his knighthood last year, Beckham continues to prove he is worthy of the title.
