Casemiro has confirmed he will leave Manchester United at the end of the season, with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nasr long rumored to be his next move.
Former Manchester United star Casemiro is in talks to sign with Inter Miami on a free transfer despite Cristiano Ronaldo’s pleas to join Al Nasr. Casemiro, 33, confirmed last month that he would leave United when his contract expires in June.
The Brazilian has enjoyed a resurgence at Old Trafford this season but is entering the twilight years of his life. Casemiro was sold by the Red Devils at the end of 2023 but has managed to remain a key player under Erik ten Hag, Ruben Amorim and now Michael Carrick.
It was then that the midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, specifically Al Nasr. A move to Riyadh would see him link up with former teammate Ronaldo, who pushed for the move.
The Sun has now reported that Inter Miami, co-owned by United legend David Beckham, are keen to sign Casemiro. The former Real Madrid star is said to have taken advantage of United’s 14-day break with no matches to fly to Miami and scout the area with his wife Anna.

Casemiro becomes the 28th player to play alongside both Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, who signed new contracts with the MLS champions last year. The Brazilian captain, who is set to lead Carlo Ancelotti’s side at the North American World Cup, has several options.
Brazilian giants Sao Paulo are reportedly willing to offer Casemiro a two-year contract with an option to work for the club after he retires. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia remains a viable option.
Casemiro is one of United’s highest-paid players, earning around £325,000 a week. In January, the 33-year-old released an emotional statement on social media announcing his resignation.

Casemiro said: “I will carry Manchester United for the rest of my life.” “From the first day I left this beautiful stadium, I felt the passion of Old Trafford and the love that our supporters share for this special club.
“This is not the time to say goodbye. We have many more memories to make over the next four months. We still have a lot to fight for together. My full focus, as always, remains on doing everything I can to help the club succeed.”
