Virgin Media has cut the price of its Sky Sports bundle, which includes nine channels including the Premier League, F1 and Rugby, plus Netflix and broadband, to £52.99 a month, what it calls its “lowest price ever”.
Sky Sports subscriptions have received a huge discount as one retailer launches a new ‘lowest price ever’ offer. The deal in question is from Virgin Media, which has cut prices by nearly £100 from its top-of-the-line sports package.
Normally priced at £56.99 a month, it’s now available for £52.99, which Virgin says is its “lowest price ever”. This offers savings of £92 over the 24-month contract and grants access to nine Sky Sports channels, including Main Event, Premier League, F1, Golf and Cricket, along with new digital platform Sky Sports+.
The package also includes over 200 standard TV channels and 516Mbps fiber broadband as part of the deal, as well as a free Netflix subscription. Virgin will also offer new customers a bill credit worth up to £250 to cover early termination charges from their existing provider.
By purchasing Virgin’s sports package, customers can avoid future price increases planned by a number of TV and broadband suppliers. That’s because Virgin has already revised its prices for April this year, with the Sport bundle not expected to rise to £56.99 until April 2027.
Other Virgin packages featuring Sky Sports channels include the £64.99 Sports + Cinema package and the £76.99 Max Volt package, which also come with extra benefits such as Sky Cinema, internet speeds reaching 1,130Mbps and an O2 SIM card. Additionally, Virgin customers can purchase add-ons such as TNT Sports (£25) and Premier Sports (£16.99) at discounted prices compared to direct subscriptions.

Virgin Media has reduced the price of its Sport bundle by more than £90, offering regular TV, Netflix and 516Mbps fiber broadband, as well as Sky Sports channels.
For budget-minded shoppers, Sky offers comprehensive sports programming through its £35 Essential TV and Sky Sports packages. Although priced below Virgin’s equivalent service, Sky offers around 100 fewer channels and does not bundle broadband as standard, although subscribers do get free Netflix and Discovery+ memberships.
For those who choose to stick with Virgin Media’s Sport package, the provider has thousands of glowing reviews on Trustpilot. One satisfied customer said: “Recently installed TV and broadband, everything works great and I have no complaints. Absolutely exceptional.”

This subscriber provided a more balanced 4-star rating, saying, “A few hiccups here and there, a little pricey, but overall the fastest connection you’ll get from a reliable source.”
Meanwhile, another five-star testimonial said: “Of all the providers I’ve tried, Virgin is the only one that has given me a reliable and fast connection. I used Sky and always had problems. I would recommend Virgin to anyone.”
