‘Unhappy’ Waltemade could return to Germany

Newcastle United striker Nick Waltemade is unhappy and could return to Germany, according to Bild.
The striker joined the Premier League from Stuttgart for £70m last summer and has since scored 10 goals in all competitions.

However, despite his strong start, his form has declined in recent weeks and he is said to be suffering from anxiety.

Waltemmed is reported to want to return to the Bundesliga with either his former club Stuttgart or Bayern Munich, which he expressed interest in last year.

The Germany international ended his recent goal drought with his goal in Newcastle’s 3-1 Emirates FA Cup win over Aston Villa on Saturday.

Barcelona keep tabs on Premier League defenders

According to Marca, Barcelona are one of several teams interested in signing Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi.
A Spanish newspaper has reported that Premier League clubs are tracking the Argentine international and Tottenham Hotspur have been named.

However, Senesi’s contract expires in June, and there is interest from Borussia Dortmund and Juventus.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are “paying very close attention” to the player’s situation in order to strengthen their defensive options.

Senesi has performed well in the Premier League this season, appearing in all but one of Bournemouth’s games so far and contributing four assists as a centre-back.

Arsenal linked to surprise move for PSG star

Arsenal are planning to sign Paris Saint-Germain star and Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele, according to Fischages.

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta values the Frenchman’s “versatility” and “individual talent” and is reported to be looking for other options in a wide range of areas.

Dembele, who was sensational last season and helped PSG win their first UEFA Champions League title, remains under contract until 2028, but Ficajes insists “his agent has not ruled out the possibility of a move.”

‘Stratospheric’ financial policy could lure Dembele to the Emirates as the Gunners seek to make a ‘serious statement of intent on the world stage’.

Arsenal are said to be counting on the 28-year-old to be unstable at PSG.

Three Premier League clubs want to sign Rudiger

Fichajes says Spurs, Crystal Palace and West Ham United want to sign Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger in the summer.
The former Chelsea centre-back is said to be keen to return to London when his contract with Los Blancos expires at the end of the season.

Spurs are reportedly “in the lead” to sign the 32-year-old, but failing to qualify for European competition could be a factor.

The club sees Rudiger as a potential leader and could be the “ideal mentor” for the young defender.

West Ham’s desire to sign the German international will depend on their ability to avoid relegation from the Premier League, while Palace could struggle to meet his financial demands.

Rudiger rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia in January but could be linked with a move to the Middle East in the summer.
