Arsenal will be aiming for their fourth consecutive Premier League win when they face Brentford at the G-Tech Community Stadium.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that William Saliba will miss the Premier League game against Brentford due to illness and the Frenchman will be absent from the squad on match day. The Gunners manager told Premier League Productions: “Willo wasn’t feeling well this morning so he’s sick. He’s at home but it’s only for a short period of time.”
Arteta also gave an update on Kai Havertz, adding: “Kai felt a bit unwell after the game against Sunderland so we’ll have to wait and see how long he’ll be out.”
Saliba was training at Sober Realty Training Center earlier this week, but then fell ill and started against Brentford in place of Cristian Mosquera. The 24-year-old has started 10 consecutive league games since returning from injury in December.

He was one of four changes from the team that beat Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium last weekend, with Pierro Hincapie, Victor Gyokeres and Ebelesi Eze also given starts.
Eze was included in the starting XI, making his 13th start for the Gunners.
“He’s obviously played a lot of games and he has the quality to decide the game against any opponent,” Arteta said of Eze.
“He’s been getting more minutes lately and he deserves to play.”
Arteta has also been boosted by the return of captain Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka. Both players are healthy enough to be on the bench after recovering from injuries.
