Marcus Rashford has no intention of returning to Manchester United from Barcelona this summer. And Rashford wants to resolve his long-term future before England head to the 2026 World Cup in North America.
Rashford joined Barça on a season-long loan last summer with the aim of making the move permanent. Barça’s leaders have agreed an option with United to sign Rashford for £26 million.
United interim manager Michael Carrick may try to persuade Rashford to resume his career at Old Trafford if he takes over permanently, it has been suggested.
However, Rashford loves playing in Spain and has told Barça he wants to stay at Camp Nou. It is understood that even if Barca fail to meet their asking price, Rashford will consider a move to another club rather than returning to United.
