Patrick Dorg is in great form for Manchester United, but the Denmark international will be out for a few weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury against Arsenal.
Manager Michael Carrick confirmed Patrick Dorg was sidelined with an injury sustained against Arsenal, but could not give a specific timetable for the wing-back’s return.
Dorg has been in great form for the Red Devils in recent weeks, but suffered a hamstring injury in last weekend’s 3-2 win over Arsenal. It has since been claimed that the 21-year-old Denmark international could be sidelined for up to 10 weeks, raising fears that Carrick will be stripped of his main squad for a crucial period.
Carrick confirmed that Dorg is expected to be sidelined, but declined to say whether it would be for a long time, stressing that the club was still evaluating the extent of the problem.

“Pat, unfortunately, he’s going to be out for a period of time. We’re still evaluating how long he’s going to be out,” Carrick said at a press conference on Friday.
“We’ll have to wait and see, but unfortunately he’s had a really good few weeks, Pat. We didn’t know if it was just a little cramp or something a little more serious, but it seems like he’s in a little bit more serious condition at the moment.
“So it’s going to take a few weeks. How many weeks? We’ll have to wait and see. So it’s really unfortunate for all of us and for the Pats as well, he’s in a very good position but unfortunately this is part of football and we’ve got to get through that and get him back as soon as possible.”
Matthijs de Ligt will also miss Fulham’s visit to Old Trafford, but Carrick should be able to get Joshua Zirkzee back in training and call him up for the first time since taking over.
Carrick said of the Dutchman: “Josh is back in training this week, which is good news. So he’s been out for a short period of time, but this will be his first time training with us since he’s been here, so it’s great to have Josh back.”
