There are 15 games remaining in the 2025/26 Premier League season, but some managers, including Thomas Frank, Arn Slott and Oliver Glasner, may not see the end of the season.
The Premier League has seen its fair share of managerial casualties this season. Nuno Espirito Santo became the first casualty when he was sacked by Nottingham Forest in September.
Graham Potter, Ange Postecoglou and Vitor Pereira quickly found themselves out of work as the first half of the season progressed.
The Premier League’s big boys aren’t afraid to get involved in dugout drama either. Ruben Amorim and Enzo Maresca were moved within days of Manchester United and Chelsea respectively earlier this month.
So with just over a third of the season still left, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to suggest that several more managers could end up losing their jobs. Look at the people most under threat.

First let’s get the obvious out of the way. Manager Mikel Arteta has Arsenal at the top of the Premier League and is unlikely to move anywhere, but it will be up to manager Josep Guardiola to decide whether or not to leave Manchester City.
Unai Emery is doing such a great job at Aston Villa that it seems almost impossible for him to move elsewhere anytime soon. Regis Le Bris has also had a brilliant first season in the Premier League, so it would be a huge shock to see Sunderland opt to move on.
Keith Andrews has silenced pre-season doubts and is doing a great job at Brentford. Meanwhile, Michael Carrick and Liam Rosenior have just been appointed by Manchester United and Chelsea respectively.
When it comes to mid-table players, Marco Silva’s Fulham are seventh in the Premier League and sacking him looks a long way off. David Moyes, Fabian Haseler and Andoni Iraola are all doing a more than admirable job and are likely to stay in the job for a little longer.

not out of the woods
Without further ado, let’s take a look at some managers who could be really at risk from poor performance. Arne Slott is the most obvious, with the Dutchman leading Liverpool to a dismal title defence.
The Dutchman’s defeat against Bournemouth late on Saturday leaves him in a somewhat uncertain position. Is he just one loss away from a sack? Probably not, but he needs to get a consistent run together soon.
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe will also be hoping for a similar signing. It seems a little harsh for the former Bournemouth man, but the club’s owners will be hoping for Champions League football next season and ninth place in the league won’t be enough.
Daniel Farke is among the managers looking over his shoulder nervously. The German appears to have kept Leeds out of troubled waters, but another miserly conceded goal could put them in serious trouble.
Sean Dyche will feel somewhat similar, with Forest sitting just five points above the relegation zone.
Speaking of which, it feels like Nuno Espirito Santo, Rob Edwards and Scott Parker are each in immediate danger, especially in the case of the West Ham manager. But continued defeat could put their jobs at risk.
in crisis
And then we move on to managers who are under real pressure, and Thomas Frank immediately comes to mind. The Dane joined Spurs in the summer but has endured a miserable spell so far.
The north London side sit in 14th place, just eight points above the relegation zone. The fans also seem to like Frank, so it would be no surprise if his time at Tottenham comes to an early end.
Oliver Glasner may have already confirmed he is leaving Crystal Palace, but it wouldn’t be surprising if he leaves before then. The Austrian is eyeing a place in the club’s leadership following the sale of Marc Gech, with the Eagles having not won in the Premier League for nearly two months.
