Thomas Frank has insisted he is ready to fight to keep his job as Tottenham manager. Frank’s time in charge is numbered, and Tuesday’s Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund could be his final managerial game.
Tottenham’s leaders have only won once in eight games and are discussing a manager change, with fans rebelling against a manager who is under pressure.
Frank said, “I think you should fight even when your back is against the wall. And that’s my job. I’m good and I’m going to fight. And again, that’s not my problem. We need to win football games. And we need to win football games together. That’s what it’s all about.”
The Danes are under increasing pressure and Frank appears to have been left for dead after Saturday’s home defeat to West Ham.

Tottenham’s injury list is heavy, with 13 players absent for the showdown with Dortmund, and the club’s place in the Champions League remains uncertain.
With Joao Parinha on the injured list and Micky van de Ven suspended, Spurs face a difficult task against Dortmund, who are second in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich.
But Frank insists that fighting means he’s not giving up, and that he can turn everything around.
Frank added: “I think preparing for the fight means getting up early every morning, going to the game, getting ready, making demands on the staff and players, having a lot of little conversations and meetings and pushing everything to make sure we’re ready every time we step on the pitch.

“I think that’s part of it, and being ready to fight means you keep fighting. When things get tough, you don’t feel sorry for yourself. You look at the bigger picture and do the best you can.
“As long as I protect the players and everyone supports them, including the fans and journalists, I am happy to take on all the responsibility.
“I just keep doing what I’m doing. I have no doubt that it’s the right thing to do and I have no doubt that it will turn around, but of course we need to win more football games.”
