WWhen it comes to records, Cristiano Ronaldo’s name is etched in them.
Now, Al Nasr’s current captain will face Al Hilal in a match that not only highlights the rivalry between the leaders and runners-up of the 2025-26 Saudi Pro League, but also has the potential for Cristiano to set a new goalscoring record.

CR7 is searching for a new milestone in the soccer world
Al Nasr, who got off to an unbeatable start with 10 consecutive wins, have been unable to continue their unbeatable pace and spirit and have only picked up one point from their last three games. Al Hilal lead the league with 35 points, followed by CR7 and his teammates with 31 points.
Now, ahead of the 15th day of the Saudi League match at the Kingdom Arena, Cristiano Ronaldo could make history and become the club’s top foreign goalscorer.
Since joining Al Nasr in 2022, the Portuguese captain has scored a total of 114 goals, with 115 goals in 109 games for the club between 2018 and 2021, leaving him just one goal away from equaling or even surpassing Moroccan star Abdellazak Hamdallah, who many fans consider to be the peak of his career.
However, even if CR7 manages to surpass this record, he will need 19 more games than Hamdallah to reach the 115-goal milestone, as he has worn Al Nasr colors 128 times.
Meanwhile, CR7 ranks 4th in the club’s all-time scoring list, followed by Hamdallah in 3rd place and Mohammad Al Saharawi in 2nd place with 131 goals. Majed Abdullah leads the league with 259 goals, almost twice as many as Cristiano’s between 1977 and 1998.
Despite this, Cristiano is currently the highest scorer in football history with 958 goals and is 42 goals away from reaching 1,000 goals, a feat no other player has ever achieved.
Now we just have to wait and see if CR7 becomes the highest scoring foreign player in club history.
