In stoppage time of the second half, Bradley took a long ball into touch and fell awkwardly. Martinelli appeared to be in considerable pain on the pitch as he prepared for the throw-in.
In a bid to restart the game as quickly as possible, Martinelli tried to drag Bradley off the pitch after he earlier dropped the ball onto a Liverpool full-back, sparking a clash between players from both teams.
A few minutes later, Bradley was carried off the field on a stretcher and replaced by Joe Gomez.
After the match, Slott told Sky Sports: “I’m afraid the worst will happen for Conor Bradley.
“If we have a player on the floor, people might already know 100 out of 100 times that there’s something wrong with that player. You don’t want to see a player being moved that might be injured.”

However, Slott suggested in his postgame press conference that Martinelli would not have taken such action had he known the severity of Bradley’s injury.
Slott added: “I’m 100% sure he wouldn’t have done that if he knew what the injury was. But if Bradley has the injury that we think it is, that’s not good.”
“But the wasting of time has gotten to the point where the players think it’s happening in the 94th minute, so I can understand why Martinelli thought he might do that.”
Asked about the severity of Bradley’s injury, Slott added: “We don’t know yet, but I think it wasn’t good for him to have to be carried away on a stretcher. Looking at the video, we both probably agree, but if it’s that bad we’ll have to wait for a scan. Or maybe he can play on Monday. I hope so.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said he would “talk” to Martinelli about the incident.
“If anyone knows Gabi, he’s a lovely guy. He didn’t understand what had happened and he wished Conor well,” Arteta said.
“He probably didn’t understand what happened. I’ll tell him.”
The draw leaves Arsenal with a six-point lead over Premier League leaders Manchester City and Aston Villa, with the top three teams each taking one point from their midweek games.
