Alli and Fletch are expecting more suffering for winless Wolverhampton Wanderers as they travel to Arsenal, as the TNT Sports duo return with their latest Premier League predictions.
Arsenal shook off last weekend’s dramatic defeat to Aston Villa with an easy win over Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League. Now Wolves will be looking to reach the top once again when they visit the Emirates, live on TNT Sports and Discovery Plus from 7pm on Saturday night.
Elsewhere, Arne Slott’s Liverpool achieved a long-awaited and somewhat controversial Champions League victory over Inter in midweek. They will look to continue their good domestic form against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

On Sunday, the Tyne Wear derby returns to the Premier League for the first time since 2016, with Sunderland and Newcastle United facing off just one point apart. Both are included in the initial roster of European locations, adding further spice to an already fierce rivalry.

Fletch was spot on last weekend when he suggested Villa could trouble Arsenal, extending their lead at the top of the predictions table. But with a busy festival schedule ahead, there’s still plenty of time for Ally to hit the ground running in the later weeks of 2025.

Selected matches:

Arsenal v Wolves (TNT Sports)

Alli: “You can’t see anything other than a win at home, right? Let’s be honest: Wolves can’t buy a win. I really feel for them. I think three points at the Emirates is a certainty for Arsenal.”

Prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Wolves

Fletch: “Wolves are terrible. There’s no light at the end of the tunnel and they could be the worst team in Premier League history. If Arsenal don’t win this, I don’t know what they will do.”

Prediction: Arsenal 5-0 Wolves

sunderland v newcastle

Alli: “I’ll tell you what kind of game this is going to be. I was bottom of the FA Cup not too long ago and Newcastle were too strong at the Stadium of Light. I don’t really know if this game will be that way. I can see it being a high-scoring draw.”

Prediction: Sunderland 2-2 Newcastle

Fletch: “I think their first big derby back in the Premier League, with the crowd cheering at home against Sunderland, will be a bit of a plus for them. Obviously Newcastle were playing Leverkusen in Germany that week, so that could be costly. With a bit more freshness, I hope Sunderland win.”

Prediction: Sunderland 2-1 Newcastle
