Frank’s only Premier League win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium came on the opening day of the campaign against Burnley, but the Spurs manager told reporters he was “very confident” he had the support of the club hierarchy, despite a poor performance and concerns from the fan base.
“I think when we deal with intelligent people, they realize that every successful dynasty and every successful club takes time.”

Ahead of Tuesday’s visit to Newcastle United, who are one place below Spurs, Frank sympathized with supporters’ frustrations but reiterated his call for them to “stand together” with the team.
“As I said after the game, I understand the frustration,” he said. “If you don’t win, you’re always going to be frustrated, and that’s normal.
“Especially because we haven’t been winning as much as we would have liked at home, not just this year but for a long time now, so the frustration is a little bit more.”
Frank continued: “Without our fans we are nothing. Without our fans, any club is nothing. Tottenham is nothing without our great fans, we are nothing. We need each other.”
“What I’m saying is that during the game, that’s where we need each other and I want to build a fortress there.
“If you want to build a fortress, it’s just the fans, the team and myself coming together. My job is to do everything I can to perform, but can we do that together? That’s where you create a difficult place to play.”
