Crystal Palace have to deal with a lot of interest in their star players on a regular basis and it looks like another big sale could happen sooner rather than later.
Crystal Palace star Daniel Munoz has admitted it would be a “dream” for him to move to Manchester United. The Colombian right-back has shone for Palace since joining from Belgian side Genk in 2024.
The 29-year-old has appeared in 81 games for the Eagles, scoring eight times. He also helped the club win the FA Cup and Community Shield.
Munoz’s contract runs until 2028, but he is already thinking about the next stage of his career. In an interview with Spain’s AS, he admitted that he has ambitions to play for one of Europe’s biggest clubs, including United.
“First of all, I think there’s a lot of talk about any club,” he said. “If you ask me, my dream would be to play for one of these clubs: Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid, Manchester United.
“I think I’m working towards that. I’m working every day to get noticed by one of these clubs one day, because for me it’s a dream to get there.”

And while Muñoz is not afraid to hide his ambitions, he admits a move will have to wait, although the January transfer window remains a potential option. He added: “As far as I’m concerned, I don’t have any concrete information that these clubs are interested in me.
“My focus is Crystal Palace. We’ll find out once the winter transfer window approaches.”
Munoz’s comments may be a cause for concern for Palace and chairman Steve Parrish. The Eagles have been forced to acquire a number of star players in recent seasons, including Eberechi Eze, Michael Oliseh and Joachim Andersen.

Captain Marc Gehi has also been linked with a possible departure, and was close to joining Liverpool in the summer. The England defender is out of contract at the end of the season and Palace are now resigned to losing him for nothing.
A £35 million deal was agreed with Liverpool, but the Reds were the only ones to walk away. Parrish said of the decision: “That’s why we had to keep Marc, because the difference between having a great season and having a season in danger of being relegated is winning five games.”
“So the gap in the Premier League is very tight and we have to remember that Michael (Olise) is gone, we are fine, Ebusu (Eberechi Eze) is gone, we are fine, Wilfred is gone, we are fine. There is a limit to how long you can go on like that before it collapses the structure of the team.”
