A total of 11 Manchester United players will remain at the club during the international break to get fit and recover ahead of the game against Everton.
The latest international holiday is approaching and it means the majority of Ruben Amorim’s squad will be jetting off around the world to represent the national team.
Currently, 15 members of the squad will not be in Carrington over the next few days as Manchester United prepare for their home game against Everton on Monday 24th November. A 2-2 draw with Tottenham late on Saturday means United will aim to extend their five-match unbeaten run.
Amorim and his staff will have a reduced squad during the international break, but it will give them the opportunity to work more closely with the remaining players. Most were simply left out of their respective national teams for the next match.

However, there is one major injury concern for United, with striker Benjamin Sesko having to withdraw from the Slovenia squad after sustaining a knee injury in the draw with Spurs. Sesco will continue to undergo tests at United this week, but his injury is not believed to be serious.
Casemiro also had injury concerns. The midfielder came on as a substitute against Tottenham, but as things stand, he is still expected to join the Brazil squad.
One player who does not belong to the club but is not expected to feature in international matches is defender Lisandro Martinez. He has just returned to training with United as he recovers from a serious knee injury.
Although he has not been selected for future international matches, he will join the Argentina team for training.
A total of 11 players, including Sesco, will remain at United during the suspension. He is likely to use this time to recover from injury and could be joined by defender Harry Maguire, who was the third player to miss the game against Spurs.
The England centre-back was not selected in Thomas Tuchel’s squad for games against Serbia and Albania, so he will be able to undergo the necessary rehabilitation at Carrington.
Four other England players were not selected but will remain at United. Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Koby Mainu and Tom Heaton will all focus on the game against Everton and will work more closely with Amorim.
They will be joined by young talents Aiden Heaven, Tyler Fredrickson and Chido Obi as they aim to impress and break into the first team. Tyrrell Malasia and Joshua Zirksee, who were not called up to the Dutch national team, will also join the squad during the international break.
A smaller squad could give other young players the opportunity to take part in first-team training and work with Amorim and the coaching staff to increase squad numbers. As for players who are away on international duty, United will be closely monitoring their progress in the hope that they return healthy.
