Amorim admits United could have ‘won more’ by playing 4-4-2

Nottingham Forest vs. Manchester City and Leeds United vs. Manchester United are some of the Premier League matches that will be broadcast live on TNT Sports and Discovery Plus in December and January.
Sean Dyche, the third Forest manager so far this season, got off to a bright start with a 2-0 win over Porto in the UEFA Europa League, but was brought back down to earth three days later with a loss to Bournemouth.
The two teams will host Josep Guardiola’s Man City side on December 27 at 12:30 BST, the first meeting since City beat Forest in the FA Cup semi-final in April.
In late December last season, Forest finished fourth in the Premier League table and managed to stay in the UEFA Champions League qualification until the final week. That good feeling disappeared when Forest found themselves at the bottom of the table by the beginning of November.

Manchester United, on the other hand, are starting to get back on track with wins over Brighton, Liverpool and Sunderland.

Ruben Amorim’s side will travel to Elland Road on January 4 in the new year to face rivals Leeds United.

City’s Erling Haaland had scored 11 goals in nine league games by the end of October, and there’s a good chance he’ll have more by the time he faces Forest.

Chelsea’s trip to Tyneside will be their last live match before Christmas and could be a blockbuster lunchtime fixture.

City will have seven games live on TNT Sports before facing Forest, so there could be a lot of changes to the league table before the holidays start.
