Bukayo Saka has been a key figure in Arsenal’s impressive start to the season and will be aiming for glory with both the Gunners and England over the coming months.
Bukayo Saka is aiming for glory with both Arsenal and England this season and believes he can achieve it. The north London side have made a fantastic start under manager Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners have a four-point advantage at the top of the table and are early favorites to win the Premier League title. Reigning champions Liverpool are already seven points off the pace, while Manchester City are just one point behind.
And while the Premier League title is on the agenda for Saka and Arsenal, the winger is also targeting silver for his country. England have already secured a place at next summer’s World Cup in America, with manager Thomas Tuchel signaling his ambitions to win the trophy.
Saka believes there is a good chance that a double player for club and country will be a candidate. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said:

“You can’t do anything if you don’t believe. I believe it’s possible. It’s not easy, it’s definitely not easy, but it’s certainly possible.”
Arsenal have made a strong start to the new season having lost just one game so far. Saka believes he and his teammates are confident they can maintain their form throughout the season and ultimately win the title.
He added: “I feel that we have a very strong group this year, with a lot of quality. We have already suffered a lot of injuries, but the players we have brought in have shown that we are all capable of maintaining the highest level.”

“I don’t think I’ve been very good at that the last few seasons. But this season I got it and it really made me believe I could do it.”
Saka will focus on his time at Arsenal for the time being, but will of course also have his eyes on England. The Three Lions have enjoyed a perfect qualification campaign so far under manager Thomas Tuchel.
And Saka seems to be a big German fan. “I think he’s a top coach, he has a tactical understanding, he’s very demanding of people and he knows how to get the best out of his players,” he said.
Saka and Arsenal return to action on Wednesday night when they face Premier League rivals Brighton in the Carabao Cup, ahead of this weekend’s clash with promoted side Burnley. England’s next match will be against Serbia in the penultimate qualifying match next month.
