Rasmus Hojlund has rediscovered his form since joining Napoli on loan from Manchester United in the summer after two difficult seasons at Old Trafford.
Manchester United gave Napoli the green light to sign Rasmus Hejlund permanently in January. Napoli signed him on a season-long loan with United in the summer after their failure.
However, the Italian champions are so impressed with the striker that they are keen to take advantage of their options and are in talks with United to bring forward a £38m deal. And with United wanting to offload the Danish forward as soon as possible, the English giants will aim to finalize negotiations with Napoli in the coming weeks.
Napoli want to exercise their obligation to sign Hoylund, and negotiations are thought to be at an advanced stage. Hoylund became the laughing stock of Old Trafford after posting a dismal scoring record.

Despite paying United £72 million from Atalanta, he only managed to score 14 goals in 62 league games.
United’s leaders were so disappointed with Hojlund that they decided to spend a further £66.3m on Benjamin Sesco this summer. However, Hoylund impressed manager Antonio Conte by scoring four goals in six games for Napoli.
Hoylund has missed Napoli’s last three games due to injury. However, he is said to be loving life on the Amalfi Coast and has no intention of returning to United.
Making an early deal would be music to the ears of the Old Trafford hierarchy, especially after the failure of Jadon Sancho last season.
