Good morning and welcome to the Premier League
The Australian football icons are yet to win their first seven matches, but life won’t get any easier when Enzo Maresca’s world club champions, who sit seventh in the Premier League table, visit for Saturday’s lunchtime game in the top flight.
“Regardless of what happened before, it is always important to win the next game and tomorrow will be no exception,” Postecoglou told reporters on Friday, with his team in 17th place in the standings, one point above the drop zone.
“We’re playing against a very good opponent, but it’s a good home and we’re looking forward to the challenge. I’ve had a good few weeks of training with the players I’ve been with here.
“We had some players who were on international duty, but they came back in good shape and ready to play.”
