England cruised to a comfortable victory over Wales at Wembley with Morgan Rodgers, Ollie Watkins and Bukayo Saka scoring on Thursday night and coach Thomas Tuchel leading the charge.
Bukayo Saka shone on his night as England cruised to a comfortable victory over Wales at Wembley. A dominant first half performance saw the Three Lions secure a comfortable 3-0 victory over their rivals.
It took just three minutes for Morgan Rodgers to open the scoring from close range, thanks to Crystal Palace star Mark Guehi. Ollie Watkins quickly added his second 11 minutes later to double Thomas Tuchel’s side’s advantage, but unfortunately he crashed hard into the post late in the game and had to be substituted.
Arsenal ace Saka cut in from the edge of the box and fired home a ferocious shot to increase their lead after 20 minutes, but Wales had few shots on target. A comfortable second period saw the hosts once again dominate possession as Tuchel’s side showed little trouble.
