Harry Kane claims he’s getting better as the move to Bayern Munich takes him to new heights and brings him to new heights as he speaks of the potential for World Cup glory
Harry Kane says he’s getting better with age — and believes England can win the World Cup next summer. Kane, 32, is still defeating the goal record, and his time with Bayern Munich only improved him, saying Thomas Tuschel is building his team to offer the biggest awards.
“Am I a better player? I say yes. Just feeling on the pitch,” said England captain Kane, who won the Bundesliga title last season after moving two Bayerns two years ago.
“The team this season feels like I’m the strongest I’ve ever had. It helps when you’re surrounded by such teams. It’s how you feel on the pitch, how I’m moving.
“I was doing this in Bayern five years ago? Maybe I’d have achieved these types of goals. It’s impossible to say.”

Kane clearly has a bond with Chuchel, who managed him with Bayern and tried to sign him for Chelsea, and there is mutual respect there.
England boss Taschel brought out a surprise at this camp, feeling good factors, following his 5-0 victory in Serbia last month, succumbing to Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden to stick with the team. It definitely changed the vibe of the country of their chances before England is under Chuchel and next summer.
Kane added: “I think it was important. We had done really well in the game before, but I don’t think there was a ‘statement victory’ that everyone was excited about from the outside.
“But I think that such performance and such results will definitely help the environment and confidence. In particular, some new players and experienced players on the team may think they will have more opportunities to really influence this team and join the World Cup team next summer.”
