Harry Kane has been linked to his return to the Premier League next summer thanks to having a release clause worth £56.7 million on his Bayern Munich contract – and his previous clubs were the first to reject him
Harry Kane effectively ruled out a return to the Premier League next summer. England captain Kane, 32, says he is ready to commit to a new contract in Bayern Munich, as he is “everyone” to stay longer in Germany.
Former Tottenham striker Kane has remained in the current deal for two years, but Bayern has already made it clear they want to extend it. Kane has complicated clauses and will be able to leave £56.7 million next summer. Tottenham has his first choice, part of a deal he took to Germany just two years ago.
Bayern Starkane, who won the Bundesliga last season and has already scored 19 goals for the club and country, said:
“I haven’t had a conversation with Bayern yet, but when they are born I would be happy to talk and have an honest conversation. Obviously, it depends on what happens next year or so and what we achieve together.
“As for the Premier League, I don’t know. If I had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have certainly said I would be back.

“What I’ve learned in my career is that there are different opportunities and different timings and things exist. Now, back to the first point with Bayern, I’m totally with Bayern.”
Kane also revealed that his loyalty to Bayern comes from enjoying his new adventure in the Bundesliga, even if it probably ends the Spurs’ chances of returning or a future move to major league football.

He added: “If there is a conversation about extensions, we will see, but I still have a different season than this one, and it’s not like I did last year, and there’s no panic in that sense.
“I’m calm, I love Bayern’s manager. He’s great and as always in my career as we’re improving, I’m happy to see what we can achieve. I think MLS is the way I’m playing now, when MLS takes years in the second half of my career.”
