Liverpool dealt with two additional injuries concerns during the Premier League defeat to Chelsea. The Reds ended up with a 2-1 loss at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening, enduring three consecutive losses in all competitions.
Cody Gakpo pulled out Liverpool’s level after Moises Caicedo fired Chelsea first before the interval. However, the Reds shipped a second goal through Esteva O’Willian, adding additional time to suffer another set-off following their defeat to Crystal Palace and Galatasaray.
Arne Slot will be forced to address some fitness issues with international breaks before Liverpool returns to Premier League action later this month. The Reds had already lost Giovanni Leoni due to a clash with Chelsea.

The Brazilian injury led Giorgi Mamaldashvili to make his Premier League debut in a loss to Chelsea.
Liverpool’s fresh fitness worries emerged when they lost to Chelsea.
The centre-back was replaced by Curtis Jones, who was only 10 minutes into the second half, and slot confirmed that Conate picked up a possible injury to the Quad.
“I don’t know if it was a major injury, but I know he limped,” Slot told reporters Saturday night. “And I asked him, and he said: “I feel a little bit of my quad.”
“But for me, all the alarm bells go off, because in another sprint, I’m not sure if it will work, so I’ve already had it in mind a bit later, because I already had it in mind a bit later.
“So it might be okay, he left early enough, but it was clear he had to take off him because he was limping.”
Liverpool is also waiting to discover if Andy Robertson was injured during his defeat to Chelsea. The left back was seen hobbing off the pitch after the final whistle, and members of the Reds’ backroom team needed help as they headed for the tunnel.
It remains unclear whether Robertson picked up a knock that kept him out for any period of time. The 31-year-old has been named the Scottish team in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Greece and Belarus announced earlier this week.
