Manchester United jumped out £80 million to sign Harry Maguire when he took him out of Leicester City, but the England defender’s deal is rising at Old Trafford next summer, but United have the option to extend for 12 months.
Manchester United and British defender Harry Maguire could be lined up for a shocking move into the professional league in Saudi Arabia. The veteran centre-back, who cost United £800,000 when he snapped him out of Leicester in 2019, was out of contract in June.
Maguire has also been the target of Al Nasr and Al Ettifaq on the Saudi Arabian side. He can freely discuss with the club when it hits on January 1st, and can order huge wages if he decides to head to the Middle East and join the professional league.
Maguire’s contract was up and running last summer, but United chose to trigger a 12-month extension on his deal. Now, the Red Devils look to the future, so we are not expected to offer fresh words.

Maguire will turn 33 in March and may want to win the final lucrative move of his career, especially the British career falling.
He stated the following about his contract status in August:
“I am confident that the club has made me realize that this summer I am not able to leave the other clubs and clubs that I have been asking about my position on my contract and contract.
“We’re sure they’ll be sitting in the coming months. We’ll have to have a conversation about where we want to go, whether they want to extend, or if the transfer window will open again in January.
“Obviously, I have something in my mind about what I want to do and what I want to be. I don’t want to put it out to everyone, but it’s a great club and if you want to pop out as quickly as possible, you’re stupid.”
Maguire has won 64 caps in his country, but has been ruled out from Thomas Touchel’s current team and faces a difficult battle to return to the calculations for the World Cup next summer.
If Maguire landed the move to Al Nasr, he was reunited with some familiar faces, especially former United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
