The Bees failed to respond as Pep Guardiola’s team scored three points to fifth in the table, putting pressure on Title Challenger Arsenal and Liverpool ahead of the international break.
After the victory, Haaland reflected his current form. He notched the 18th goal for the club and country this season, making him score in his ninth consecutive game.
“I’ve never felt better than I am now,” he told Sky Sports.
He continued: “First, you’re preparing for the game. I’ve spoken many times before. You’re physically ready, but you need to be mentally ready.
“To be honest, with my child (his son), I actually cut more than ever, so it makes me even better – I have no thoughts about soccer at all.
“When you’re a little younger, you think of this, think of it, and maybe worry about things, but when I get home, I’ll relax even more. So I think I need to scream at my son.”

Haaland has scored nine Premier League goals this season, three in the UEFA Champions League and six in Norway, including five stunning strikes against Moldova.
Of the 11 games he played for the club and country, he failed to score on one outing.
Guardiola praised Haaland for his current output, prolifically before the goal, and for bringing City’s record to 136 in 155 games.
“He was very important to us this season,” city boss Guardiola said. “We need more goals from other people (players), but we have a chance.
“The winger has to score more goals, and the winger has to score one for each person, one for each person in these situations.
“The team in the game has been solid for a long time. We’ll be fine.”
The only disappointment for the city of West London on Sunday was the injury to Rodri, who was kicked out in the first half after it appeared he had tweaked his hamstrings.
“I was right, no? When I first asked why I didn’t play him for 90 minutes,” Guardiola replied when he asked about his midfielder fitness.
“Do journalists always ask me why I substitute him? Hopefully it won’t be that big.”
Guardiola, who joined City in 2016, also became the fastest manager to reach 250 Premier League victories, defeating the likes of IR Alex Ferguson and Alsenwenger with feats with comfortable margins.
“I’ll invite all of them (the manager he recorded) to dinner,” Guardiola said of his achievements.
“I think it’s an honor to sit at the table with them, so that’s not bad. It’s 10 seasons, there’s a lot of 250 wins. We started for a lot of reasons.
“I didn’t know, but that’s fine.”
