Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane finished a break from social media as rumors were picking up linking him to Manchester United’s work. After a rocky start at Old Trafford, the heat of Reuben Amorim is taking place.
Nevertheless, Manchester Evening News said on Monday that Amorim still has United’s board support, with insiders suggesting they are not currently seeking alternatives. The report after a 3-1 defeat to Brentford suggested that the club had created a three-man nominee list to replace Amorim if performance did not improve.
Gareth Southgate, Andoni Iraola and Oliver Glasner are reportedly the trio in question, but several other names have also been stolen in united work.

Zidane was one of them, and overnight he posted photos on social media, posing against the stunning background of the New York skyline. He obviously enjoys his vacation, but it will be interesting to see if the executive charm can bring him back – especially when United knocks.
This post was the first personal he shared for a week, and during that time Zidane may have seen various reports linking him to United’s work behind Amorim’s latest defeat at Brentford on Saturday.
Ex-Real Madrid boss Zidane has consistently linked his move to Old Trafford since leaving Los Blancos in 2021.
The former French midfielder boasts an impressive record of 200 wins in 320 matches during his tenure at the Santiago Bernabeu.
He also garnered many individual accolades during his time in Madrid, but has been responsible for managing ever since leaving the club for the second time.
The former French International is also touted as a potential successor to Didier Deschamps of the French national team.
“We have a coach in charge, we have a team, you need to respect everything, and that’s what we do,” he told Marca.
“I have always admired football and people, so that’s not the right time.
“But when the time comes, it’s a great joy to have the opportunity. I put my career on hold for a while, but I feel like a coach.”
