Nicholas Jackson won Bayern Munich’s first goal in PAFOS in the 5-1 Champions League playoffs, with the striker aiming for treatment from Chelsea
Chelsea striker Nicholas Jackson swipes over the blues after revealing how Bayern Munich was forced to train in isolation for two months before the summer switch.
The Senegalese forward scored the goal of a maiden in Vincent Company outfit, following a summer loan move to the Bundesliga Giants in a 5-1 victory over Paphos in the Champions League. Jackson found Bayern’s fourth strike net past the 30-minute mark following a double from Harry Kane, supporting Rafael Guerreiro’s first half effort.
Mislav Orsic pulled one back at home side moments before the break, but Michael Oris sealed the fifth in the second season and put the match in bed.

Speaking about his performance after the final whistle, Jackson said (according to Football London): “It wasn’t easy, but I played a really good game and worked hard. I’m very happy to score the club’s first goal.
“I’ve never played alone or trained for two months so I’m still back to full fitness. I work hard every day.”
Jackson’s criticism stems from his treatment at Stamford Bridge following the Club World Cup. His move to Munich was nearly defeated after Liam Dellup’s injury, raising doubts about his future.
Jackson traveled to Munich to complete his move to the German power, but Chelsea ensured that Enzo Maresca’s team had an offensive alternative.
The 24-year-old was eventually approved to complete his move, and Mark Giu was replaced by a loan stint at Sunderland.
Despite Chelsea agreeing to a potential sale to Bayern Munich under certain conditions, the striker was quized about his future after a victory over Paphos.
Jackson said:
The forward was not included in Maresca’s preseason plan and did not appear in the Premier League FIFA Club World Cup champions as suspension from the previous season took over.
Jackson received a red card in a match against Newcastle United at the end of last season. In other words, he missed the start of a new season.
Another fired during the Club World Cup match with Flamengo raised further questions about his discipline.
