Liverpool believes that Allison and Hugo Ekicchike will leave the pitch prematurely with a 1-0 loss vs Galatasaray and Arne Slot, with the former not facing Chelsea on Saturday

Arne Slot says Allison “doesn’t play” for Liverpool against Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday after the Brazilian was kicked out 1-0 loss vs Galatasaray due to injury.

The Reds needed treatment after a brave dive to deny Victor Osimhen just before the Istanbul time mark before being replaced by Giorgi Mamardashvili. Slots also already thinks it’s very unlikely that Premier League champions are ready to play on weekends travelling to London.

“If you go out like this, it’s never positive,” Slot said when asked how much Alison is. “We can make sure he’s not playing on Saturday.”

Liverpool is aiming to bounce back at Stamford Bridge after losing a second consecutive game during slot tenure. Looking for his overall view on the performance and results, Dutchman told Amazon Prime:

“It’s difficult to compare this situation to the past. In these situations, we sometimes get a little smarter and we can’t blame Dominik Szoboszlai for the situation. They make a 20% penalty a 100% penalty.

“We’ve been out of the level shown last season, so far (it’s off the level shown last season), and this can be something that your schedule can bring. Galatasaray is not an easy game. We’re playing Chelsea Away, a difficult game right now.

“Margaine was small, last season. For the second time we’re on the wrong side.

“We saw a lot in the first half, but it was much less in the second half. I didn’t think there was a lot of playing time in the second half, and I didn’t think their strikers were on the floor in four or five times. It was hard to gain momentum in the game.”
