Zidane’s former colleague and Premier League icon Emmanuel Petit has announced his reservations about the potential switch to Manchester for the 2024 registered Madrid Maestro.
He states:
“At this point, Manchester United’s environment hasn’t been good for years. The club’s expectations are not the same as before, either, and the stability of the bench, the level of players.
“United is still a huge club, but it’s not on the pitch anymore. And Zizou is very conscious and very careful about it.
Petit added: “If he gets a job at Manchester United, that means he has a solution. At this point, I don’t know if many people have a solution that will change the situation for Manchester United.
“Does he want to leave a sunny day in Madrid? His life is in Madrid and he is dedicated to Madrid. I don’t know if he speaks very good English. And communication is very important in the dressing room.”
