Jose Mourinho is back at Stamford Bridge ahead of his meeting with Chelsea in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Jose Mourinho claims he will always be something special for Chelsea – until someone wins four titles. Mourinho returned to Stamford Bridge to lead Benfica, and made an emotional return to the club, winning the Premier League three times with two glorious spells.
The new Benfica boss even said “Judas are no one” when he was booed by Chelsea fans when he returned with Manchester United in 2017.
Mourinho described him as a special person when he first arrived in British football in 2004.

“But Chelsea won something before my time, then we started to win, then my team continued to win, then we continued to win, then we continued to transform the new team, new coaches, more trophies, European trophies, biggest trophies, Champions League.
“So, Chelsea is a winning car. I’m the biggest car until someone wins with four people.”
Mourinho actually praises Enzo Maresca’s work at Chelsea and thinks he can win the Champions League this season after winning the Club World Cup. The Portuguese boss said: “That gold badge means a lot. It’s the first time a club has won a new Club World Cup. Congratulations.
“The Champions League is much more difficult to win than the Club World Cup. Of course, Chelsea could do that. There’s no reason to say no. Chelsea can’t do that.”
Chelsea faces 74 charges, and the FA and Premier League face investigations into rules violations on third-party issues and strict agent rules covering the period Mourinho was in charge.
There is no suggestion that Mourinho did anything wrong, but he has been spoken very openly in Manchester City and their accusations in the past.
When asked about Chelsea’s charges, Mourinho said: “Not Man City? I don’t know about it. I don’t know what the accusations are. I’ll try to understand them.”
