Reuben Amorim’s future remains uncertain amid the ongoing struggle of the Red Devils, but at the end of the tunnel there may be a light with a top manager who is already “said” to replace the “underfire” boss
Former Manchester United interim manager Ralph Langnick has approved the cry of Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner, who links to Old Trafford’s hot seat. Current United boss Reuben Amorim is building pressure after defeating a 3-1 defeat at Brentford on Saturday.
Amorim is understood to still have support for the United hierarchy for now, but speculation about his future refuses to disappear. The Portuguese head coach has managed to secure just 34 points from the Premier League’s potential 99 since taking the reins.
The United boss was forced to publicly support his manager, following the embarrassing Carabao Cup exit last month, and the embarrassing Carabao Cup exit to the town of Grimsby. The report suggests that if Amorim fails to turn things around, United have created a list of three potential successors.

Former England boss Gareth Southgate, Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraora and Glassner are all reportedly thought to be heated to stop United’s slump.
After struggling with a temporary stint at Old Trafford in 2021/22, Langnick has previously sparkled Glasner’s admiration.
“For me, Oliver Glasner is currently one of the most exciting coaches in Germany and in Europe. He’s an absolute top coach,” Langnick told Laola1 in March 2023.
Glasner has been praised for his sterling work at the Palace. He currently enjoys 18 unbeaten runs in all competitions.
The South London team won a spectacular FA Cup for Manchester City last season.
Palace also won another victory over Arne Slot’s team on Saturday – ending with an unbeaten start of the season.
Rumors have swirled around whether or not a Glasner will be approached before the season ends, with Austrians using three systems similar to what Amorim employs.
